YLISIA is a Dutch female-fronted symphonic metal band based in the Netherlands. Influenced by acts such as The Gathering, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Stream of Passion and Kate Bush, the band blends atmospheric soundscapes with strong melodies and an authentic live approach.
Formed in 2021, Ylisia quickly established itself on the Dutch live circuit, performing at venues and festivals including Rotown (Eendrachtfestival), Baroeg (supporting Imperial Age), FemME Festival, Bevrijdingfestival Wageningen, Nieuwveen Live!, Women in Rock and Paardcafé. The band received multiple awards, including the FemME audience award and the 2024 Kabaal Regionaal Band Battle jury award.
Ylisia released their debut album Underneath in November 2023, followed by an international re-release via Wormholedeath Records in December 2024. The album was released in Japan on June 30th, 2025.
